Seacoast Science Centre offers sculpture exhibit by Thomas Berger

RYE — If you have strolled down the main walkway to Seacoast Science Centre lately you will have noticed a cuttlefish carved in granite, an abstracted seaweed, a broken doggy whelk shell, a enormous fish with some of its ribs uncovered, and a friendly leatherback sea turtle.

These sculptures have been developed by Kittery Artist Thomas Berger, and are component of the special exhibit  “Circulation of Lifestyle,” a assortment of stone and bronze sculptures on exhibit now via Sept. 4.  In accordance to Berger, “Move of Life refers to the coming and heading of lifestyle on numerous amounts: existence coming and going with the tides, the lifestyle of an animal from beginning to death, the evolution and extinction of species on our planet – some of it prompted by way of our very own presence and activities.”
