Forensic scientist Dr. Lori Ann Valentin, who attained a B.S. in Biochemistry from SUNY Fredonia in 2009, will return to campus for a two-working day residency, “My Radiant Journey: Company through Science – A Chemist’s Perspective,” on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 7 and 8.
Writers@Perform is an alumni writers-in-home series that includes both well-recognized and emerging writers, editors and publishers in a variety of experienced and resourceful genres who fulfill with students and fascinated community customers. The residency has been collaboratively organized by Writers@Operate with the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, the FREDwell Lounge, Honors Application, Intercultural Centre and Keeper of the Dream Scholarship and Leadership Plan.
Dr. Valentín looks ahead to connecting with Fredonia learners in meaningful techniques for the duration of her residency.

Valentín, who retains a doctoral degree in chemistry from Binghamton University, is a forensic scientist at the New York Condition Law enforcement Forensic Investigation Center in Albany. She started her get the job done in forensics in 2015.
