Game Night returns to Dover library

DOVER — Game Night is starting up again at Dover Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lecture Hall. Games will be provided, but players are welcome to bring their own to share as well. Some of the games available include Carcassonne, Scrabble, Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, Uno, Forbidden Island, and Tsuro. This event is primarily geared towards ages 12 and up, but families and all ages are welcome to join in the fun. You do not need a library card to come play! Nina Totenberg to speak at Music Hall

PORTSMOUTH – The Writers on a New England Stage series will present award-winning NPR Correspondent Nina Totenberg talking about her highly anticipated new memoir, “Dinners with Ruth,” on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.

The 7 p.m. event will include an author presentation and on-stage interview with Hannah McCarthy, host of New Hampshire Public Radio’s Civics 101. The event will take place at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St., Portsmouth.

Dinners with Ruth by Nina Totenberg

Tickets are $15. For each ticket sold, the purchase of a book voucher (Dinners with Ruth, $28 hardcover) is required. Vouchers can be redeemed on the event night for copies of “Dinners with Ruth” with a signed bookplate. Packages can be purchased online at TheMusicHall.org, over the phone at 603-436-2400, or in person at the theater.
