Seattle Storm and Pacific Science Center partner to ignite curiosity

PacSci named as Storm’s first Official Science Partner

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm and Pacific Science Centre (PacSci) these days introduced a new partnership among the 4-time Women’s Countrywide Basketball Association (WNBA) Champions and the nonprofit science institution, naming PacSci the initial Formal Science Associate of the Seattle Storm. With each other, these legendary companies will challenge youth and supporters of all ages to investigate science and innovation. 

“We are thrilled to companion with Pacific Science Centre for a first-of-its-type partnership for the Seattle Storm,” said Alisha Valavanis, Storm President and CEO. “With PacSci as our Formal Science Companion, we will alongside one another undertake group get the job done concentrating on youth and STEM ideas. The partnership also offers the Storm with the Champions Middle on the Seattle Heart Campus, with doorways opening to Storm supporters and associates very quickly.”

As the Formal Science Husband or wife, PacSci will be the presenting spouse of Storm Spouse and children Weekends—Storm game titles on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the 2022 season at the team’s new house at Weather Pledge Arena. At pre-recreation action stations, youth and curious minds of all ages will investigate arms-on interactive functions about biology, geology, astronomy and numerous other STEM (Science, Engineering, Engineering, and Math) concepts. During Storm household games, PacSci will deliver the “Science Second of the Activity,” igniting fans’ curiosity via existing situations in science such as photo voltaic eclipses, obvious astronomy and geological events.
